Aliens and Chemo Day 1...check

My second home...for now. Yesterday they inserted the ports under my skin...which look like aliens trying to break through. 👽 Matt and I spent almost 4 hours in the "Chemo Suite." The treatments after this will go much quicker. We did meet a new friend...

There was a young girl (20 something) who has fought cancer twice now! First, she had cervical cancer. She had surgery along with chemo and left her ovaries. Just a few short months later, she found out she has ovarian cancer. She has a few more months left of her second round of chemo. This girl is happy, confident, and definitely a fighter! The chemo suite is like a fighting ring for boxers. Everyone has their own story and EVERYONE wants to KICK ASS!
