I was one lucky person today! I had the honor of receiving a visit from 2 of my most precious former students. One of them wrote me a letter with clip art of all my favorite things. The other just returned from Italy and he made this heart with the Z in the middle. Each piece is hand blown glass and the necklace too. I feel so fortunate that I was feeling almost myself to have spent some time with these 2 sweet little dudes. Tomorrow is my 2nd treatment. I will be bringing my prayer shawls, holy oil, clinging cross, and cozy blanket. My good friend, Christine said the song, "Mama Said Knock You Out" reminds her of going through chemo..."I'm gonna knock you out"--cancer!
