Pretend Day

Today I was a normal healthy person...at least that's what it looked like from the outside. It was a day I call, "Pretend Day". I was able to attend a training at school for a new reading program we just adopted. After,  I met up with Linda. She treated her office and myself to a massage and dinner. I ate my last bowl of pasta, drank my last glass of wine, and ate a dessert full of sugar! Until we meet again, yummy food and wine!

Tomorrow I will be having a minor surgery to install both ports, one in my chest and the other in my abdomen. I will begin chemo treatments the very next day. "Cancer may have started the fight, but I will finish it"
